New Police Officers Sworn In

Two new officers were sworn in to the police department at City Hall on Monday.  Joanna Morse and Elijah Domasin took their oaths to serve the City surrounded by fellow officers, city administration, and friends and family. Both Joanna and Elijah will attend the 108th session of the Vermont Police Academy in August, where they will undergo a rigorous 16 week training period.  Upon completion of the Vermont Police Academy, the officers will return to the South Burlington police department, where they will undergo an additional 16 weeks of field training.
