This spring, the Planning & Zoning Department put in place a series of temporary permitting measures to allow businesses to adapt to changing circumstances brought by the evolving pandemic. The temporary measures have now been extended through the end of the year.
The measures allow businesses to install outdoor seating, pickup and display areas, temporary signage, food trucks, and tent structures without need for a permit from the Department, so long as certain guidelines are followed.
Tents exceeding 200 s.f. in size, and any heating within tent structures do still require review and approval from the Fire Marshal.
