Construction crews are at work widening the corners and approach lanes to the intersection of Community Drive and Kimball Avenue. The current four-way stop at the intersection will also be replaced by traffic signals that are expected to be installed by the end of the year.
Increasing the capacity at this intersection comes in part as a result of the construction of a new 144,000 square foot FedEx building in Technology Park. That project is expected to be completed in May, 2021.
