Recreation & Parks Going Remote

Due to the latest Executive Order from Gov. Scott, the Recreation and Parks Office will be closed to the public beginning Monday, November 16.  All staff will continue their full time working hours remotely, and have made accommodations to receive voicemails via email.  When reaching out to the Recreation and Parks Department, please allow us one business day to respond.  We will be checking emails daily Monday-Friday and aim to provide a seamless transition to this remote work.

While we can’t gather together in programs, winter sports or league play; we hope to see some of you as we do spot check visits of the parks.  If you see our Rec and Park Truck out and about, please give a wave and a smile as we will be doing the same.

We know this is a challenging time and we want to ensure you that we are working on some opportunities for the whole community to enjoy from the safety of their own vehicle and within their own household that will be released soon.  Keep checking our website for any updates and announcements.  Also, be sure to follow our social media accounts and our SBRP Weekly Update for any details.

While utilizing our parks, please be mindful that you are only with your household group, you practice social distancing, that you wear a mask and that you leash your dog at all times. We will continue to follow Gov. Scott’s weekly updates and post information accordingly.

Be well and be safe!
