Jon Moore, the General Manager of Green Mountain Transit presented their annual report before the City Council on November 16th. GMT provides transit services in South Burlington, Chittenden County and in rural areas of northern Vermont.
There are three GMT routes that provide service to South Burlington residents and businesses. South Burlington pays approximately $500,000 to GMT to provide service to the community which also supports their system-wide costs.
During the last fiscal year GMT provided over 2.8 million passenger rides system-wide.
