Residential Property Inspections Resume!!
As is the new norm, the City-wide reassessment project has been in a state of flux the last few months due to the COVID-19 Virus. The reassessment project, while delayed, is still on schedule to be completed for July 1, 2021. While we were able to inspect most of the properties prior to the shut-down, there are still around 1,400 residential properties to inspect. Check out the list of streets that could still be inspected.
The City has decided to resume the residential property inspections soon. The representatives of Tyler Technologies will be out and about again in the next few weeks gathering the necessary data to complete the reassessment. As before, the data collectors will have identification issued by the City of South Burlington and will be wearing yellow construction safety vests.
The City and Tyler Technologies wishes to assure everyone that safety precautions will be followed during the remaining inspections. Data collectors will be wearing masks and gloves and observing the recommended 6-foot social distancing. Click here for a detailed inspection procedure.
