Come share your Halloween Spirit!

SBRP is hosting several not-so-scary Halloween themed events this month.  Registration is not required and best all, these events are free.  You will have the opportunity to go on a short night hike, carve pumpkins with friends/neighbors and take a stroll around the stormwater pond on Market Street at our 2nd annual Community Glow Walk.  We look forward to you joining us.

No Registration Required for these events

Not-So-Scary Night Hike

October 19 | Thomas Hubbard Recreation & Natural Area | 6:00-7:00 pm
Let’s go on a hike. A Family Night Hike to be exact. This family friendly short hike will take place on Tuesday, October 19th from 6:00-7:00 pm. Participants will meet a SBRP representative in the parking area of the Thomas Hubbard Recreation and Natural Area on Nowland Farm Road. Overflow parking will be on Pinnacle Drive. We will plan on exploring the open trail around the perimeter of the property. Though glow necklaces will be provide, participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp.  As a courtesy to others, we kindly ask that all pets remain at home.

Community Pumpkin Carving
October 22 | SB Senior Center (180 Market St.) | 6-8 pm
You will want to be sure to come join our Community Pumpkin Carving event. This year it will take place in the new Senior Center at City Hall (180 Market Street) on Friday, October 22nd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. You can bring your pumpkin(s) with you and we’ll supply all of the tools. Even better, you’ll leave the mess with us! This is a fun activity to do as you gather with other families in this fantastic space while you get into the spirit of Halloween.

Community Glow Walk
October 29 | Market Street (Retention Pond) | 6-8 pm
Due to its immense popularity, we are excited to share that our Community Glow Walk will be back for its second year and will be even bigger and better. This event will once again take place around the stormwater pond on Market Street. Be sure to mark Friday, October 29th from 6:00-8:00 pm on your calendar.
