SBPD is always looking for the best of the best to join our team and we want to speak with certified Vermont law enforcement professionals who are ready for a new challenge. Lateral officers who are current instructors, field training officers, drug recognition experts, or hold other certifications will be afforded every opportunity to maintain their expertise and utilize the skills they worked to perfect.
Incentives for full-time certified officers include:
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus dependent on years of service
- YEAR-FOR-YEAR CREDIT FOR YEARS OF SERVICE
- MUST BE HIRED BY JULY 1, 2022 TO QUALIFY FOR MAX BENEFIT
