The members of the Patrol Division are committed to developing partnerships with community members in order to identify issues that effect the quality of life of South Burlington citizens and together, develop long term solutions to these problems.

The Patrol Division is the largest section within the police department.  The primary responsibilities of the patrol division are to respond to and resolve violent and non-violent crimes in progress and traffic collisions. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crime reporting and investigations, traffic enforcement, various state statute and city code enforcement, crime prevention, and community relations.

Community involvement in Special Olympics, VT Hunter Safety, and other worthy causes is what makes South Burlington Officers the most valuable in the State of Vermont.
