The City of South Burlington tax year runs from July 1st through June 30th.
Tax Bills in South Burlington are mailed out on or before July 15 each year. The tax payments are due in three installments: August 15th, November 15th, and March 15th.

The bills are mailed to the owner of record as of April 1 of the tax year per state statute.
If you have your property tax payments paid through an escrow company, you should forward a copy of your tax bill to the escrow company to ensure they have the most recent information regarding your billed tax amount.
If you have sold your property after April 1 and received a tax bill, please forward it to the new property owner.
If you have bought a property after April 1, kindly get in touch with the Tax Department at 802-846-4109 or reach out to Martha Lyons at mlyons@southburlingtonvt.gov and Emily Norway at enorway@southburlingtonvt.gov via email to obtain a copy of the bill that would have been sent to the previous owner on April 1.
