SB Pumpkin Carving Fun

Halloween is full of fun family traditions such as eating caramel apples, seeing Halloween decorations, dressing up as your favorite Disney character and carving some pumpkins. On Friday, October 28th we continued our Halloween tradition of Pumpkin Carving right at City Hall, in the Senior Center Activities Room. We supplied the tools and best of all, everyone got to leave their pumpkin mess with us! Our wonderful student volunteers walked around to assist folks in carving, cleaning, and give them some thoughtful ideas and tips as they started carving some awesome, creative, and spooky pumpkins.

What’s pumpkin carving without cider donuts and apple cider? Well, The Mill Market and Deli of South Burlington donated tons of donuts and cider for all to enjoy, free of charge! While carving your pumpkin, we played our traditional Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Halloween movie and passed out some candy for folks to enjoy. For the people who showed up, they were able to carve their pumpkin, watch a movie, eat some donuts and cider, get some candy, and best of all….leave their mess with us! A great way to start the Halloween Weekend! Thank you to everyone who attended!
