Register Your Dog or Cat  - Deadline April 3rd

Register Your Dog or Cat  - Deadline April 3rd

A few more days to register your dog or cat prior to fees greatly increasing.

Just a friendly last reminder there is less than one week remaining to register your dog or cat before incurring late fees.  April 3rd (since April 1st is a Saturday) is the last day to register your pet before the late fees become effective.  It is our goal to have every dog and cat in the city registered before April 3rd to prevent having to charge any pet owner late fees.  Please be aware that state law does not allow us to accept postmarks as on-time payments and we will have to charge the late fee.

Current fees (paid before April 3rd at midnight) are:

Dogs –spayed or neutered                  $25

Dogs – not spayed or neutered           $29

Cats –spayed or neutered                    $12

Cats – not spayed or neutered            $16

The registration fees increase dramatically with the new fees listed below effective April 4th.

Dogs –spayed or neutered                  $25 plus $14.00 late fee = $39.00 total due (4/3 or before $21.00)

Dogs – not spayed or neutered           $29 plus $16.00 late fee = $45.00 total due (4/3 or before $25.00)

Cats –spayed or neutered                    $12 plus $13.00 late fee = $25.00 total due (4/3 or before $12.00)

Cats – not spayed or neutered            $16 plus $15.00 late fee = $31.00 total due (4/3 or before $16.00)

After April 30, the late fee increases another $15.00 and need to be added to the fees listed above.
