This month Snyder-Braverman, LLP broke ground on over 100 units of City Center housing that will open by 2024 – Catamount Run. The University of Vermont has invested funds in this project in order to secure first dibs on housing for faculty and staff. University President Suresh Garimella said that he made securing housing a priority for his staff and this public-private partnership has accelerated the timeframe in which housing would be made available for the UVM community.
The project also features commercial spaces on the ground floor along Market Street. Catamount Run is next to the South Burlington Public Library and City Hall. This is the third project of this type to break ground in two years.
