South Burlington School District Student Show

SOUTH BURLINGTON – The South Burlington Public Art Gallery is pleased to exhibit student artworks from across the South Burlington School District (SBSD), curated by their art teachers.

A sampling of student work from each of the schools has been selected to showcase the knowledge, skills, and creativity of the student artists at various levels of development. The selections demonstrate some of the best efforts of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. According to the teacher-curators, choosing only a few pieces was difficult! Many of the students throughout the district created pieces worthy of exhibition. SBSD students have made many fabulous pieces while exploring imagination, observation, and abstraction, and have used a wide range of media. Students have been inspired by master artists, various cultures, nature, experiences, and passions.

An Opening Reception will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 5:006:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. Come meet the artists and celebrate their achievements!

The Gallery, located at 180 Market Street, is free and available to the public whenever the Public Library, City Hall, or Senior Center are open: Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m (closed Sundays). The exhibition will run through July 31st.
