Programmatic Updates in Light of Social Distancing

We are reaching out to keep you apprised of the current status of programs and offerings through our department.

All programs that had been scheduled to take place in our schools have been cancelled until April 6.  We are working with instructors to reschedule when possible and are providing refunds to programs that have been cancelled.

We are working with City Management to review protocols for programs within city property ( city hall and parks) as well as off-site locations and will update you with any change in status.  Currently, our department has not cancelled any in-house programs; though we have been supportive of any instructor who has made that choice personally.

Please check our website for additional updates and information.  Additionally, we will be communicating any changes through email.

Be safe and be well.

You Recreation Department Team

UPDATE - 1:15 pm

Program Cancellation Update:
All programs held in schools and municipal facilities (City Hall and Parks) have been cancelled until further notice.  This includes all scheduled Programs**, Events, Meetings, Field Reservations and Hikes. While we encourage individual visits to our Parks during this time, we are not approving any requests or providing permits for groups to gather on our fields or in our parks until further notice.  Additionally, we encourage all registrations to be completed either on-line or over the phone.  We are granting all registrations a one week grace period for payment to allow for mailed in payment should you choose not to pay via credit card on line.

We will be providing weekly updates via our Department Website each Monday with any new information.  Please keep yourselves and one another safe and healthy.

Best
Your Recreation and Parks Department Team
