The City Council unanimously adopted amendments to the City’s Land Development Regulations last Monday, following a public hearing. They are:
- An allowance to increase the total lot coverage on parcels along Shelburne Road and a portion of Williston Road by Kennedy Drive by ten percentage point if either a small private or public “civic space” parklet is installed on site or the applicant purchases Transferable Development Rights conserving land elsewhere
- New options and changes to standards for the design of required “civic spaces” associated with development in the City Center Form Based Code District
- Eliminating the requirement for paper copies of applications to the submitted to the City.
