Library Shares Seeds For Third Year In A Row

The South Burlington Seed Library, a hub for local seed exchange and garden education, is up and running for 2021. Patrons can now “borrow” from this inventory of open-pollinated and heirloom seeds to grow at home. At the end of the season, gardeners can “return” seeds that they saved from the plants they grew. Library staff also organizes and promotes educational events and resources relevant to gardening, seed saving, and local food. The first class this year, on starting seeds, will be with local garden expert Ron Krupp on March 16.
