Draft Environmental Protection Standards - For Public Comment

The City’s volunteer Planning Commission is seeking public feedback on a proposed overhaul of the Environmental Protection Standards portion of the City Land Development Regulations. The proposed regulations update, and in some case expand, existing standards related to wetlands and wetland buffers, river corridors, 100-year floodplains, and stormwater management. They also propose new sections addressing Habitat Blocks, Habitat Connectors, Steep Slopes, and the 500-year floodplain.

The Commission will be holding a series of informational and community input sessions over the next month, and a formal public hearing on May 20th 7:00 PM.
