ASPIRE: A Campaign to Enrich Our New Public Library
The South Burlington Public Library’s new home, at 180 Market Street, opens this summer. Located in the heart of City Center, the jewel in the crown of this amazing new building for the community which houses the library, City Hall and a Senior Center, will be an inspiring gathering place that will benefit the entire community.
The South Burlington Library Foundation (SBLF) has launched the Aspire fundraising campaign to raise funds for the new library, to enhance the creation of engaging spaces (the Children’s Library, teen and Tween rooms, and a 100-seat auditorium), purchase the latest technology to increase learning and creative interaction, and expand all areas of collection.
Watching the building go up has been an amazing experience. Throughout the project, library staff, trustees, and the community have imagined everything that the library could be. Now that walls and ceilings are in, it’s easier to see how these dreams may come true. To experience the excitement of what is happening you are invited to take a peek inside the amazing new South Burlington Public Library with Director Jennifer Murray and learn more about the: Aspire Campaign.
Community members are also invited to participate in the campaign by making a gift to their community that is meaningful to them. Naming opportunities are available to celebrate, honor, and remember those whose lives have had an impact on our community and those whose generosity will make ours a truly 21st-century library. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible contribution please visit Library Foundation Aspire or contact email@example.com.
Together, we will make our new library extraordinary.
