Chalk The Walk
This past Saturday was a gorgeous day for our first ever Chalk the Walk event. Special thanks to our event partner Vermont Federal Credit Union for being the driving force in making the event happen and for supplying the chalk and fun take-a-ways. The creative and colorful artwork helped to make our community a little brighter. We look forward to adding this special event to our annual inventory.
Thursday Night Take-Out
Thursday evenings in May and June welcome the weekly installment of Thursday Night Take-Out, a new event for us this year which is the forerunner to our larger #SoBu Nite Out series held during June and July. Thursday Night Take-Out (TNT) will see a rotating selection of 9 different food trucks at Veterans Memorial Park with an average of 4 vendors each Thursday evening between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. The first two nights have been incredibly successful. Purposefully created as a smaller offering as we emerge from the pandemic and gather in our parks, we’re pleased to have this predictable amenity available each week. You may find the weekly lineup on our website or our Facebook page. When combined with #SoBu Nite Out, community members can plan on a picnic in the park each Thursday through August.
