The Library staff is excited to announce the Friends of the Library Winter Concert Series, four free concerts in the beautiful new auditorium at the South Burlington Public Library. South Burlington master trumpeter Connor Young will start the series on a jazzy note with his quartet on December 11 at 12:30 pm. Following this first show will be Eclectica, a classical quartet, on January 29; the Sky Blue Boys, a bluegrass and old-time duo, on February 19; and Hungrytown, a folk duo, on March 26. All shows are on Saturdays at 12:30 pm and will have refreshments afterward.
Concert attendees may also be interested in the library’s monthly Open Mic, Music and Movement With Miss Emma, and the weekly Poetry Club. Email SBPLprograms@southburlingtonvt.gov for more info on the Winter Concert Series and other library happenings. Please plan to wear a mask at all programs.

The Library will close at 4:30 on Wednesday, November 24, and reopen on Saturday, November 27 from 10-2. In December we will close at 4:30 on Thursday, December 23, and reopen on Monday, December 27, then close at 4:30 on December 30 and reopen January 3, 2022.
