Have you checked out the Library Lately? Work is underway on a Mural in the Young Adult Loft, directly over the new YA books. Jules Herrera, a student in the Big Picture program at SBHS leads a group of students who have planned and are implementing a mural project. The group’s interest was to paint a community mural and the students selected the Library based on how important it is to the community. The design is complete and Jules worked over Spring Break to get the outline up on the wall. Soon the Loft will be draped in drop cloths and paint will start going up. A reception for the students and the public is another part of the project and will be scheduled soon. Until then, stop by to watch the magic happen!
