Trucks, Trucks, and More Trucks

Saturday, June 4th the South Burlington Recreation Department put on their annual Touch-A-Truck event. Touch-A-Truck is designed to have the community interact with trucks and cars that they may not be able to on a regular basis. A great turn out of trucks which included state police cruisers, towing trucks, Army wreckers, cranes, firetrucks, and much more! Hundreds of families showed up to interact with these trucks and honk the horns and sirens, play with the lights and get to sit and (pretend) to drive these vehicles.

While families were walking around from truck to truck, they had some fun surprises along the way. An inflatable bounce house for the youngsters to play, airbrush tattoos, bubbles flying everywhere, and even mini golf! To top it off, KOOL 105.1 was there to DJ this event and get everyone in the dancing mood! There were certainly lots of smiling faces and not just from the kids! A special thank you to everyone who made it out to support this event.
