Camp Out In The Park!

Saturday June 25th at Veterans Memorial Park was filled with smiles, smores, and tents! We had our annual Great American Camp Out and enjoyed our time being spent with families, in a relaxing camp like atmosphere. We cooked s’mores over a fire and enjoyed playing corn hole, lacrosse, frisbee, and limbo! While some were playing and running around, others were just lounging enjoying the sun (and shade)! Those who got a little hot from the sun were able to enjoy some popsicles to cool off.

When the sun was setting, the park was light up in a beautiful orange/yellow light and a slight breeze started to cool off the day. As the sun set, we played a movie on the big screen for all to enjoy. Watching Space Jam; The New Legacy with the sun setting and cool breeze blowing, was an ideal way to end the night. After the sun set and the park became dark, the clear skies allowed us to do some stargazing and we even saw the big dipper! Everyone was greeted with a nice cool morning and again, the beautiful sun rising. Not to mention the best part of the morning; coffee and donuts! Thank you to everyone who camped out!
