“Oceans of Possibilities”, the theme for Summer Reading, 2022 kicked-off with a bang on Saturday, June 11th at the South Burlington Public Library. Along with crafts and a visit from storyteller, “Pirate Pete”, readers were able to collect their Summer Reading kits in re-usable canvas book bags, thanks to Mascoma Bank’s generous sponsorship. The program runs through July 29th and includes reading challenges for all ages, craft programs for elementary and middle school kids and storytimes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prizes and treasure chest items are supported by the SB Friends of the Library.
