Fire Tells A Tail .....
Just when we were pawsitive we had seen it all, a concerned citizen called us for a cat they heard meowing inside their foundation. When Engine 2 arrived on scene, they located the unfurtunate feline within the wall with a thermal imaging camera and Senior Firefighter Hachey exclaimed “You’ve got to be kitten me!”
The several hour long event appeared to be a cat-astrophe but thanks to the cooperative work between the pawsome homeowner and the firefighters with some saws , the furry feline was removed from the wall and safely turned over to the South Burlington Animal control officer.
There is no doubt in our mind that this strong little kitten will live long and pawsper! Thanks to the vigilant homeowner that called it in.
