The South Burlington Recreation Department has teamed up with many different fitness instructors to provide fun and exciting fitness classes for all ages. Whether you like to dance or connect deeper with nature around you, we have a class for you!
Tai Chi, offered outside at the Wheeler Homestead is a great opportunity to move, breathe, and connect yourself with the sounds of nature while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Perhaps indoors are where you’d like to work out and can come to our new Senior Center Activities Room and enjoy Dance To Fitness that introduces new dances while getting some back and core strengthening exercises in. It’s like working out in disguise! No dance experience is needed.
While these might seem to target our older folks, we have some opportunities for our young athletes to train! We have collaborated with The Edge and Parisi Speed School for young athletes to improve their foot work, explosiveness, and speed! If your young athlete is serious about their game, you need to send them to this program! Along with these, we offer yoga, seated yoga, Jazzercise, and much more!
