JOB SUMMARY:

Oversees the installation and maintenance of drainage infrastructure within the City including structures, piping, ditches, stormwater treatment practices, and any related stormwater / drainage infrastructure. Ensures appropriate Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control (EPSC) practices are installed. Supervises the stormwater division work crew. Completes all other work as assigned.

Communications and Outreach Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

The Communications and Outreach Coordinator ensures that City messaging is delivered in a timely and strategic manner to the residents and businesses of South Burlington. This includes the development of informational materials, engagement of residents to understand the interest of the community, and clear delivery of city-wide messaging. This Coordinator facilitates all city-wide communications targeted to multiple communities via the city’s website, social media platforms, promotional print materials, press statements and releases, and coordinated media and special events. Additionally, this position is responsible for the city’s website, brand and brand management and the training and coaching of all staff to best communicate to our constituents.

Under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Capital Projects, the Public Works Project Manager is responsible for oversight of multi-modal transportation, open-space, and related capital improvement projects from development and planning through construction. Work includes managing consultants and contractors, as well as interacting with the public as necessary to ensure successful project implementation. This position will also provide assist in the development of City policy related to transportation and open space.

Library Circulation Specialist
