Fire Employee Recognition
On Thursday, April 27 the South Burlington Fire Department held an employee recognition night in the auditorium at City Hall. The Department acknowledged the promotions of several staff members and those who had been recently hired. In a fire service tradition, these members were formally sworn into their new positions and had their badges, “pinned” by family or friends. It was also an opportunity to recognize members for their years of service and for the work completed during the Covid pandemic.
The Department congratulates the following members on their promotions:
Chris Corbin - Deputy Chief, John Christman - Captain, Alex Spencer – Lieutenant, Ed Spooner - Assistant Fire Marshal
The Department welcomes the following new members:
Brent Sargent, Al Laurent, Greg Swain, Kyle Lange, Annika Colony, Logan Hipes, Adam Ziter, Michelle Collins, Stephen DeMaio, Nathan Ceffalo
