The City Council has approved a contract with Pike Industries to do paving work in South Burlington during our Fiscal Year 2022 season which begins on July 1, 2021. Paving is expected to begin after that date and be completed by October 1, 2021. The bid from Pike Industries for the contract was $571,798.
Projects that are on the list for paving include Airport Parkway from Kirby Road to Berard Drive, Arbor Road from Patchen Road to Juniper Lane, Green Mountain Drive from IDX Drive to Shelburne Road, Larch Road from Arbor to the end, Lyons Avenue from Central to the end, Newton/Baldwin/ McIntosh intersection, Spear Street from Swift Street to 705 Spear Street, Swift Street extension from Veterans Park entrance to second Brand Farm, West Twin Oaks Terrace from Grandview to Kennedy Drive and Whatley Road from Deerfield Road to the end.
