We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Drasler to our Recreation and Parks team as a Recreation Specialist. Lauren began her first day by kicking off an outdoor baseball camp at Veterans Memorial Park in a downpour so is certainly “getting her feet wet”. This summer will provide a multitude of community engagement opportunities to meet Lauren, so stop by a SoBu Nite Out to say hello. She is a great addition to our team. Want to learn more about her? Hi Everyone!
I am so excited to be joining the South Burlington Recreation and Parks team as a Recreation Specialist! In this role, I look forward to building connections with families, supporting and developing programming and learning more about everything this incredible community has to offer. Prior to accepting this position, I worked for Burlington School District as an Afterschool Site Director at Flynn Elementary School. In my free-time, I enjoy getting outside, spending time with friends and family and music and dance. I have also recently taken up yoga and have high hopes to eventually earn a certification as a Zumba instructor (we’ll see). I look forward to meeting everyone as I begin to familiarize myself with the city.
