It is with great pleasure that we welcome Rebecca Isham to our Recreation and Parks Team. As the Senior/Adult Recreation Specialist, she is eager to beginning planning for activities and events in our new Senior Center, which will open in August. She looks forward to meeting you at any of our upcoming Thursday SoBu Nite Out’s and at the City Hall Grand Opening Celebration on July 23. Read on for an introductory message from Rebecca.
I am very excited about this new adventure with the South Burlington Recreation and Parks Department as the Senior/Adult Recreation Specialist. In this role, I look forward to creating opportunities for the senior/adult community of South Burlington to have fun, be active and be social. I look forward to meeting and building relationships with the residents of the community. Before taking on this new journey, I have worked at the UVM Home Health and Hospice as a Team Assistant/Scheduler, supporting the visiting staff to provide care to Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties. When I am not working , I like to garden, craft in various ways and spend time with my three cats, as well as work on my business administration degree.
