On Saturday, July 9th at 8:00 a.m. the South Burlington Cemetery Commission, the City’s sextons and the Vermont Old Cemetery Association will be holding a headstone repair and cleaning at the Shelburne Rd Cemetery. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help us clean, straighten and repair broken headstones. No prior experience is necessary.
Supplies for the day will be provided but volunteers should bring work gloves, work boots, bug spray, water and sunscreen. Olive Garden has graciously allowed us to use their parking lot for this event, so please enter the cemetery from their parking lot.
